Dump trucks, alternatively referred to as dumper trucks, play a crucial role in the efficient conveyance of loose materials within construction and dumping sites, and this training program ensures you acquire the skills needed to operate a dump truck with proficiency, including procedures for starting, shutting down, and overall operation.
To maintain a high standard of safety, prospective participants in the ADT training course are required to exhibit proficiency in communication and mathematical literacy at NQF Level 1 as a prerequisite for enrollment. To complete the enrollment process, you'll need to provide a valid national ID or passport, a code 10 driver's license, and your CV to facilitate job placement assistance. Moreover, for individuals seeking license renewal or refresher courses, it is essential to present an old copy of the dump truck license and a certificate of competence.
The training program covers critical subjects, including personal safety utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the influence of dump truck safety on workplace driving, techniques for identifying hazards to avert injuries and accidents, safe procedures pertaining to batteries and tires, and the safeguarding of other individuals in the surrounding area.
